Director

Kirsty

Kirsty began performing at a young age ad studied at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts from the age of 10. She completed the Musical Theatre Diploma.. In her final year, she discovered a passion for teaching while working within Italia Conti associate schools, alongside performing professionally in high-profile events such as the Brit Awards, One Night with Kylie Minogue and 42nd Street.

After having her children, Kirsty transitioned into full-time teaching, working across a range of stage schools in roles including Dance Teacher, Drama and LAMDA Teacher, Head of Early Years, 16+ Musical Theatre Tutor and School Manager. She worked with students aged 3–18, building confidence, technique and a love of performing arts, and wrote and directed numerous productions.

In 2018, Kirsty founded and grew her own Babyballet franchise across Croydon, delivering ballet and tap classes for children aged 6 months to 6 years. After three successful years, she moved into secondary education and has since taught GCSE and A Level Drama and directing many successful productions.

Director

Michael

Michael is an experienced drama teacher, director, and actor coach, currently working as Director of Enrichment at an independent school in South London. He has taught and directed students aged 11–18 across a wide range of productions, from intimate plays to large-scale musicals.

Alongside his work in education, Michael has directed professional and independent theatre productions outside of schools, including work nominated for an Off-West End Award. He specialises in naturalistic performance techniques that translate seamlessly across stage, musical theatre, film, and television, with a coaching approach rooted in authenticity, confidence, and industry-relevant practice.

Passionate about mentoring young performers, Michael is committed to nurturing creativity, resilience, and self-belief, and takes great pride in supporting students who go on to further training and professional careers across the creative industries.
